Esther's Workshop Experience in France
"I was in France in the village of Gilhac et Bruzac in late April of 2006 to take a one-week workshop taught by well-known abstract expressionist, Thibaut de Reimpre. (shown far column at right)
The workshop had a great impact on my creative process, in that I felt I was able to "let go" and paint more directly from an inner source, without regard to trying to plan or control the outcome
I think the new work reflects a great sense of freedom of expression, even abandon, if you will.

The workshop was held at The Centre de Formations a la Peinture at the Moulin de Perrot. It sits in the countryside in the Rhone Valley, near the small town of Valence.
