ARTIST STATEMENT
Freedom of imagination is a glorious, yet terrifying thing. To fully allow the full power of the unconscious to show it’s face is perhaps one of the greatest risks that I have experienced.
When I paint my energy is completely absorbed by the process, the flow of the paint, the marriage of colors. I love being surprised by the unexpected, the unplanned, the sudden, the accidental, and even the astonishing.
I hope my paintings touch the viewer deeply, so they too can feel their own mysterious power within.
