JR Compton, art critic and curator for the show, said,"Esther Ritz' subtle mystery of Vanish on the invitation is still flowers, if I want them to be, but I also see a writhing dynamic under its buttered popcorn sky, of red and subtle hints of red on black shadowy ground, an unbound dance of the sugar plum furies, a flurry of Epiphyllum, exotic daisies, maybe poppies, intense crimson of the life bloody landscape swirling the force that through the red fuse drives our lives."
